| Description: The Feisol CT-3441S Traveler Class tripod is the ideal tripod when light weight and compact folded size are desired. The legs on the CT-3441S Traveler Series are designed to fold upward by 180 degrees for the absolute smallest possible folded size. The resulting folded length is only 43cm (16.9in). This makes the Feisol Traveler Class tripod small enough to fit in many camera bags and backpacks, as well as standard size carry-on bags for airline travel. In spite of its ultra compact size, the standard two-piece telescoping center column permits the CT-3441S extends to 178cm (70.1in). This combination of ultra compact size, lightweight and generous maximum height is unique to the CT-3441S Traveler series from Feisol. There are no other tripods on the market that are this tall, yet fold up this small. This makes the Traveler Series from Feisol the ideal camera support system for the photographer on the go. And, at only $299.00 it's also much more affordable than the competition. The newly developed CT-3441S tripod has an improved twist lock that is easier to lock and unlock. The rubber twist lock grips on the CT-3441S are longer, more comfortable and easier to grip than those on the original CT-3441. The longer twist lock section on the CT-3441S also provides a more rigid leg joint. The result is a more rigid tripod with a higher maximum load rating (10kg/22lbs. vs. 6kg/13.2lbs.) compared to the original CT-3441. The folded length remains the same (43cm/16.9in), but at a slightly increased weight (1.0kg/2.2lbs. vs. 0.9kg/1.98lbs.) and slightly lower maximum extended height (178cm/70.1in vs. 186cm/73.2in) compared to the CT-3441. The new CT-3441S model also accepts optional short and long metal spike feet for sure footed grip on rugged terrain. With the legs folded up by 180 degrees, the Feisol CT-3441S Traveler series can fully contain the new CB-30C head. The new CB-30C incorporates a dovetail mounting clamp and a user adjustable friction preset. |

Quick Release Specifications
Please see below for dimensions and diagrams of FEISOL quick release plate and clamp. Quick release plates of other makes may or may not work fit out clamp, and will definitely lose the safety lock feature. FEISOL can not be held liable for any ballhead or equipment damages caused by installing non-FEISOL plate to use with the ballhead. For anyone thinking about using their existing quick release plate, please try at your own risk.
